statement

Most of my work is a journey, as well as statement of my surroundings. Things happen all around us all the time, whether we acknowledge them or ignore them are always up to us.

I try to record some of mine, but life moves so fast, I just can't get them all, I attempt to nail down a certain Idea, feeling, something I have seen, or story I've been told, an experience that has made a lasting impression..... We all have similar pleasures and fears I attempt to come clean, without spelling everything out, I would rather you try to figure some of these things out, come up with your own conclusion, to have you pay more attention to your own world.

At one point or another we all end up in one of my paintings, what you see here, could help you decipher where you are, where you have been, and where you are going.

Not all of it is pretty.

This painting is beautiful. I love the colors and the way everything seems to be reaching out towards each other.

I like the color in this, too. I imagine that this beauty of a painting might portray your snooping around--and I think of "Watership Down," a favorite book. (Does your new city have jackrabbits?)

Enjoy the new place--moving takes time.

Eva..
Glad you like! I was attempting to show a bit of contrast on this one, as there is between where I live, and where I'm moving to.

Hallie (HW)...
Thanks, I am the jackrabbit in the middle of the painting, and all the other rabbits in the foreground are family and friends.

Yeah moving does take time, its been 10 years since my last move, its really hard to pull it all together, what to take what to leave...
As always thanks!

Yes the contrast, very striking. But dude, the more I see of those "jackrabbits" the more they creep me out. They're downright ominous in this one.
Reading back I see I may not have worded that the best way...'cause I mean it's a good thing. I bow to your jackrabbits for their power to stir the dark in my heart.

Nice work. ;-)

A..
I must have missed your comments, I thank you from my rabbit heart!!

I have been looking for a symbol that hasn't been over done, the rabbits seem as good as any.

Thanks again
