Most of my work is a journey, as well as statement of my surroundings. Things happen all around us all the time, whether we acknowledge them or ignore them are always up to us.

I try to record some of mine, but life moves so fast, I just can't get them all, I attempt to nail down a certain Idea, feeling, something I have seen, or story I've been told, an experience that has made a lasting impression..... We all have similar pleasures and fears I attempt to come clean, without spelling everything out, I would rather you try to figure some of these things out, come up with your own conclusion, to have you pay more attention to your own world.

At one point or another we all end up in one of my paintings, what you see here, could help you decipher where you are, where you have been, and where you are going.

Not all of it is pretty.

ditigal photo

This was taken in that heavy industrial area I like to kick around in....
it was originally color, I stripped it down to the bare elements, and tweeked it a little.

if you click on it, you can see the some of the elements, the ones I was trying to capture....
I still have some learning to do on these things

Yes, industrial environments have their own kind of beauty. I like the photograph a lot JB. I like the hazyness and the movement in it.

thanks momo...
yes, I agree, I love these places and hate them at the same time.
I try to pick times to shoot these photos, dark, cold and hazy instead of a bright clear day.

I cross to the other side of town daily,it is where this place is. I have slowly fallen in love with these places, although it is a love/hate relationship

thanks, I too would like to see this!
I will at some point look into getting a few of these photos enlarged and printed.
(I'll trade you a book, for one or two) but it has to be signed!
thanks again
